We recently visited Mottisfont (that'll be one of my favourite posts of the year I can already tell), and decided to carry on the theme with another spot for enthusiasts of flora.
I've never been to Petersham in June (aka prime rose-season) so thought this ought to be the year to amend that.
Outfit Details
Pink pearl headband (sold out, identical here)
Navy shirtdress (gifted) + plus size version
Cashmere cardi (gifted)
Straw bag (gifted)
Petersham Nurseries is always gorgeous. I mean, I'm inspired by the place all year round (the dahlias in October are quite something) but there's got to be a special something said for their charming array of roses in June.
As well as every corner of the grounds ;)
Stoic foxgloves replete with bees, industrious, diligently collecting nectar.
And one particular rose shrub, coerced into the most spectacular tree of pinkish blooms.
I think what's perfect about Petersham is the presentation. Of course it's become quite the 'Instagram-hotspot' but it's more than that! It's the perfect place to come down and glean some inspiration for your own garden, or indoor/outdoor space whatever that might constitute. Everything is beautifully presented, in a way that's aspirational and creativity-provoking. So if you've any sort of interest in plants, growing and gardening, botanically-inspired homeware (or just fancy a giant slab of homemade cake surrounded by blossom and bougainvillea) then it'll very much be up your street.
