I'm actually really looking forward to sharing this post with you today.

Beauty has been.. 'less on my radar' more recently - dresses, pretty earrings and anything homeware seems to be much more my thing! - but what has interested me is clean and natural products that are a little more skin friendly.

I've been transitioning my routine to feature more clean beauty products that still work. And Evolve Beauty is one such brand that deliver this in abundance. They've kindly gifted me all of the products in this post but it's not sponsored - I just want to share what I think is a really fabulous brand, with superlative products. If, by chance, you've missed my lengthy beauty posts, then happy reading! ;)

I suppose a little about the brand in general might be helpful to start you off.

I've had the pleasure of trying/working with Evolve Beauty for a few months and just love what they stand for - I've been telling friends and family all about them - and that's the true test of a product's desirability after all, isn't it? Their range of skincare and body products are made in a small scale fashion in Hertfordshire (each bottle bears the name of the maker on it - an adorable touch), are vegan and cruelty free, and use organic, naturally sourced ingredients and recycled packaging - all at an incredibly affordable price point (the most expensive items come in at £30-40). And most importantly of all, I think the products themselves are great. (Most things are available in travel-size options too which is so handy isn't it? I love taking them travelling with me). Of course I'm constantly trying new and different things, it's part of my job, but the Evolve range is what I'm coming back to on a daily basis.

Their clean, concise formulations are a big factor for me, so I'll be including the ingredients lists for all of the skincare as we go.

Hyaluronic Serum 200 (UK | US)

Aqua (Water), Rosa Damascena (Rose) Water*, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder*, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit Extract*, Glycerin, Amorphophallus Konjac Root Powder, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Anisate, Sodium Dehydroacetate. *ingredients from organic farming.

Containing 200mg of low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid, I like the uncomplicated formula of this hyaluronic serum. Pomegranate extract (high in ellagic acid) also helps to limit water loss and free radical damage. It's an almost gel-like, viscous serum that's extremely comfortable on the skin. Hyaluronic acid can equally draw moisture from the skin, especially in drier environments, so I always use it in conjuction with the next product, via the Sandwich Method.

Daily Defence Moisture Mist (UK | US)

Aqua (water), Rosa Damascena (Rose) flower Water*, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Water*, Glycerin, Moringa Pterygosperma Seed Extract, Opuntia Ficus-Indica Stem Extract*, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Anisate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Dextrin. *ingredients from organic farming

This might be my favourite product of the bunch. It's hydrating, non-greasy, and feels so fresh and uplifting on the skin - I just spritz it on with abandon. Prickly pear and moringa peptides help calm and protect the skin and the light, sweet-floral scent smells like wallflowers to me, which only makes the experience ever the more pleasurable.

Liquid Crystal 2 in 1 Micellic Cleanser (UK | US)

Aqua (water), Rosa Damascena (Rose) flower Water*, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit Extract*, Aloe barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder*, Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Anisate, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, Mannitol, Lecithin, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Sodium Benzoate, Sorbic Acid, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Citrate. *ingredients from organic farming

I'm the biggest fan of micellar waters. They're really all I use in summer and I go through them like water. (Bioderma's Hydrabio is probably my first love, but Simple (original formula only) and Nivea's MicellAIR are really great if you're after an uber affordable option.) This micellar seems similar in formulation to the Hyaluronic Serum - it's gentle and hydrating on the skin and seems to remove makeup pretty well too.

Miracle Organic Face Mask (UK | US)

I love this face mask! It bears a strong resemblance to my favourite Ren Glycolactic of yesteryear that I've spoken so much about on BTB. Natural AHA's from sugar cane, bilberry, orange, lemon and maple, together with vitamin A and papain from papaya extract exfoliates the skin leaving it bright and smooth!

Climate Veil Tinted Spf 20 (UK | US)

Aqua (Water), Zinc Oxide, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Coco-Caprylate, Cetyl Ricinoeate, Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Glycerin*, Opuntia Ficus Indica Stem Extract*, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caryodendron Orinocense Seed Oil, Vaccinium Vitis-Idaea Fruit Extract, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder*, Tocopherol, Sodium Chloride, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Benzoate, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Gluconolactone, Calcium Gluconate, Mica, Sodium Anisate, Sodium Levulinate, Hydrogenated Olive Oil Stearyl Ester, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, Parfum (Natural fragrance). *Ingredients from Organic farming

Currently their singular makeup product (or more, skincare with a tint), I didn't think I'd love this one as much as I do. A tinted moisturiser with light sun protection, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and polyphenol rich lingonberry. It's like my favourite Estee Lauder EE that I believe is discontinued, but better. Many tinted moisturisers end up being quite creamy/slick in texture, and the rest seem to dry down and become quite matte and powdery. But this finds a happy medium. It does dry down (in the same way Bobbi Brown's longwear foundation does, and doesn't look greasy, but still keeps my skin looking plump and hydrated - with a small amount of coverage that lasts all day and doesn't wear off over the hours. You can see it on my face in the photographs - it gives a lovely glow whilst keeping my oils at bay. I've actually tested it underneath cushion foundations and it seems to really make them stay in place for longer. I'm very fortunate that the single shade "Light-Medium" pretty much matches me exactly (it's just a tad on the warm/dark side), but the shade 'range' could absolutely be improved..

Righto, onto a few body products.

Sunless Glow Body Lotion (UK | US)

I wouldn't say I'm a lover of 'fake tan' (nor a real tan to be honest, just because of how damaging the sun is to skin!) but there's no doubt I feel better in myself with a little glow. And I love that Evolve offer that in a natural way. It contains papaya and aloe extracts to smooth and soothe skin. I've not tried layering the Sunless Glow but one layer goes on simply and streak-free and just takes the edge off my pasty limbs!

Tropical Blossom Organic Body Butter (UK | US)

The body butter is rich and sumptuous in texture, yet delicately scented with hibiscus, which is my sort of combination. Dry knees and elbows no more.

Satin Body Gloss (UK | US)

Ooh I love this dry oil. I can't remember where I last spoke about camellia oil but it's one of my favourites for skin - so moisturising. The Satin Body Gloss includes mica for a lovely sheen (not sparkle), you can use it on both body and hair. The yellow-gold tone might seem off-putting at first but let that not deter you - it seeps seamlessly into the skin, just giving the teeniest touch of warmth and a soft, nourished look.

You know what, it feels quite nice to do an indepth beauty post again. Even if it was basically saying "this is great!" in 20 different ways ;) And on that note, I've seen other bloggers criticised for 'liking everything' and only sharing positive reviews and I just want to say, is that so bad? Blogging became a part of my story as a coping mechanism for what was going on in my personal life at the time - my father was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease when I was at university being the main bit of it - and therefore was my escape. I wanted it, and still do, to be a positive space. I tend not to 'trash' products (or people for that matter) here but rather just not give them any column space as it were, at all. I mean the Disney writers were onto something when they bestowed Thumper with the line 'If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all!'

I suppose people are suspicious, that we bloggers aren't 'playing by the rules' or disclosing appropriately, fed up that we're sponsored to write posts or create videos and get lots of 'free stuff' in the post. But I hope you know that I bother to spend my time and energy writing about products/moments/experiences because I love them. I mean, take today - I don't exceed 1.25K words on mediocrity!

Let me know if you've tried Evolve Beauty anyway, and if not, what would be the product you'd like to try most?
