A Week In The Life Of #4

Well this week, it's fair to say, has very much been an 'at one with nature' kind of week. And good golly Miss Molly am I glad to just relax for a while. No photos of a packed to the brim schedule, but something a little more subdued and none the less beautiful. Summer means there's lots around to photograph and I got rather snap happy..

I'm so fortunate that where I call home in the South East is amidst the countryside, I wake up to the sound of blackbirds singing and my first sight upon opening the curtains is greenery; things like that are priceless.

I've found myself waking up and going for a walk and a wander close to my home, armed with camera, sunnies and little else. It's easy to forget to appreciate the everyday things. The amount of times I've driven past something (usually in a hurry!) and, in the back of my mind, wished I could stop and take a closer look. So I have been. Primarily of flowers albeit. But so should you!

I've even taken flora onto my nails, in the world's easiest cop-out nail art, what do you think?

In other news, ART. Namely Hockney inspired montages, Jack Vanzet, Islamic inspired art and watercolour. Bit obsessed lately. It makes me happy just to scroll through the stuff. Here, cast over your gaze and enjoy.

  5. Love the photos, they are so beautiful! Nature photos are one of my favourite. I am very lucky like you as I live in the countryside here in France. So much nicer than the big noisey town :). Nature is beautiful.
