I have to say I’m rather grateful for this particular afternoon as I haven’t felt inspired to take out my camera and spend some time shooting for quite a while. At least anything more than mirrored ootd’s or the odd clothing capture on a country walk, anyway.
With the help of the torrid weather we had earlier in the month, and these beautiful, glinting-gold trinkets, I definitely felt transported to my own little Mediterranean escape.
Outfit details:
Tanrica bangle
Delmore bracelet
Moonstone zodiac rings
Embroidered dress (similar option)
Salty, mermaid-like hair (forgoing the salt though, my hair is just seemingly uncontrollable), voluminous, natural linens, sparkling flares of warm, golden jewels, ripe fruits. All I need now is the crystal-like azure of the Mediterranean Sea to complete my impression.
I’ve been really enjoying jewellery with natural, organic forms or an ancient, handmade quality, so I’m thrilled with these finds from Ottoman Hands.
Chic pieces with a Byzantine twist, historic designs handcrafted in Turkey in brass plated with 21ct carat gold for that rich, golden hue.

I love the hammered textures.
And the natural stones and pearls they use to accent their jewellery - like the beautiful natural pearl and turquoise in my Delmore bracelet.
A necklace or two is next on my list..Wishing you a long and happy summer, wherever it may be.
