Look what showed up at my door.

I loved this toile dress so much last year I've also chosen it in pink - gifted so thank you!

This is the quintessential summer dress for me. Cotton, a forgiving, figure-enhancing cut with flattering, feminine sleeves. To see it in more detail and in blue and white, you'll want to go to this post.

It's been a bit dress-centric in general around here lately.

I did a mini series over on my IG featuring some dresses from my closet, and you seem to have been loving seeing those and the garments on my rail so thank you, as I've enjoyed sharing them.

Today, I'm sharing some ideas for summer dresses, including pieces already in my closet and those on my wishlist.

Because you know me. I can't resist a little blue and white for the summer - I mean it's not like it makes up around 80% of my summer clothing.. Blue and white florals, toile de jouy and pastel midaxis are top of my choices.

Sure, blue and white is my mainstay but there are many beautiful pastel shades and prints around this year, I'm floating between warm lilacs, teeny florals, square necklines, to a creamy buttercup yellow.

The summery counterpart to the LBD, because in summer, we wear white. I love textured white cottons in particular, like broderie and the wrap midi dresses below.
