THE SKIN FIXER SHEET

THE LOWDOWN

The maker of some of my all-time favourite sheet masks, the Skin Clinic line of masks from Innisfree focus on studied actives to remedy specific skin concerns. Derived from Centella Asiatica, a member of the parsley family, Madecassoside or Madecassic Acid has demonstrated many skin-healing properties including anti-inflammatory and anti-aging benefits. Access to it's glycosides allows collagen synthesis, leading to skin rejuvenation and renewal. Fantastic for troublesome skin, this mask promises to soothe and reduce redness and irritation.

HOW TO USE

Use after cleaning and toning. Take out of the packet and remove plastic film. Apply to face avoiding eyes and lips, then leave for 10-20 minutes. Remove and gently pat to allow remaining formula to absorb into the skin. I aim to use a sheet mask like this everyday or on alternate days but even once a week is beneficial.

MY TIPS

Centella Asiatica is a really popular ingredient in Asian skincare, often found in ampoules, to soothe skin and contribute to overall skin health and improvement, including anti aging and antioxidant-like behaviours. If you like the Aesop Parsley line, you might want to give this a go.
