Chanel is one of my very favourite makeup brands. Their textures, shades and packaging all exude quality and their seasonal collections always include at least something that I 'need' to procure. Today I'm sharing 5 of their colour products that, I don't care who you are, you need to try!

Rouge Coco Shine Lipsticks £25 | These are my gold standard in hydrating, sheer lipsticks. For starters, there's a secret swell of pride whenever I, or anyone else I see, brandishes a Chanel lipstick from within their bag. These lippies are smooth and buttery, with just the right amount of pigment and shine. They go on and wear off beautifully and are the perfect low maintenance lip. I'm loving Boy and Deauville, both pinky-brown-y-nudes, as well as Romantic (a more peppy pink) and the Coco Baume; pricey for a lip balm but well worth it in my eyes.

Illusion D'Ombre Eyeshadows £25 | The ancestors of newer bouncy shadows (Colorpop, Stila etc), when this formula first came out it rather blew the beauty world's minds. These shadows are fantastic one-and-done products, you can't fail to get a pretty eye look. The texture is spongey and almost gel-like, gliding onto the eye then staying put, whilst the super finely milled sparkle looks like a wet sheen in the most beautiful way possible. I think the shades is what makes them so special. Beautiful, multi-dimensional coppers, purples, burgundies, I love New Moon, Ebloui, Emerveille, Illusoire, shall I keep going? (Although New Moon was a limited edition colour, you can still pick it up from Chanel here).

Les Beiges Blush Stick £32 | I've mentioned this many a time here at BTB, this is the prettiest flush in a tube. I of course love the ease and simplicity of the stick format, making it really easy to apply and reapply, and so travel friendly, but it's the formula that's won me over. No.21 sheers out to a skin-mimicking rosy glow and the gel-cream formula literally looks like you're blushing from within.

Joues Contraste Blushes £31 | The only limitation with the Les Beige blush sticks is the shade range, in which case I really favour the Joues Contraste compact blushes. Considering the 'dry' formula, that feels hard and doesn't kick off a lot of fallout, they blend extremely well on top of a cream or liquid and meld with the rest of your makeup throughout the day. If pressed, I'd plump for Rose Glacier, a subtly shimmery pink, and Alezane, a more unusual darker rose, as my favourite shades.

Poudre Universelle Compacte £33 | A similar formula to the Joues Contraste Blushes, this powder is so fine, it blends exquisitely on the skin. This really has no discernible coverage and doesn't leave you looking powdered, it has a subtle radiance that mimics a demi-matte, natural-skin finish, whilst keeping your makeup in place. I own other loose powders for my dressing table but this is my go-to on the go.

I'm a bit of a hoarder and will unashamedly add to my collection so let me know, what are your favourite Chanel products?
