ROSE TONED.

I'm a bit obsessed with rosy shades as of late, whether it's a nice dusky pink, a deep-reddened rose or even pinky, golden tones on the eyes, rose-toned products have sprouted across my collection. I've got some of my favourite rosy lippies as well as a sneakily good dupe for a discontinued Tom Ford beauty, have a peek.

MUA Lipstick Shade 11 £1 | I'm not usually a huge fan of really inexpensive lipsticks (mainly the scent) but for this little creamy, rose shade I make an exception, it's such a pretty colour and has to be a dupe for something expensive, (it looks close to the Tom Ford but in person it's not quite there) I'm sure of it. Literally less than the price of a coffee, how can you go wrong?

Guerlain 'Mi Mai' £26.50 | If you're not enamoured with really pigmented lipsticks, and more often than not I'm not, Mi Mai is the perfect sheer rose. The teeny tiny speckles of shimmer glisten beautifully once applied to your lips, I'd say this is pretty much a universally beauty-fying shade.

Aerin 'Perfect Nude' (Harrods | Nordstrom) £26 | This bunch of lippies needs far more recognition. They're probably my favourite lipsticks of all time (and yes that means perhaps moreso than Tom Ford, C.Tilbury, and the rest!). Not overtly pigmented, they have that timeless, creamy sheen that I search for in a lipstick. And they wear off evenly and subtley, so low maintenance.

Tom Ford 'Negligee' | I deeply love this lipstick. A deeper, reddened rose, it's ridiculously flattering and sophisticated with my colouring. Unfortunately, Mr Ford has discontinued it, although Richard from Lips & Boys is almost identical (although I'm not paying £27 for a sample sized lippie, Tom Ford or not).

Soap & Glory 'Perfect Day' £6 | On wandering around Boots looking for staples, cotton buds etc, I spotted one of the staff wearing a gorgeous reddened-rose shade, so after chasing her down, I found out it was this Soap & Glory lippie. Turns out it's the perfect dupe for Negligee. The swatch looks a tiny bit redder/more pigmented than Negligee but this doesn't translate on the lips.

Rosie For Autograph 'Lady Rose' £14 | You'll know if you've read my Rosie Haul, that I'm a big fan of these lipsticks. Lady Rose is a dark, cool-toned rose, with a creamy and pigmented texture. The wear time on these is great, and if this particularly shade isn't quite for you, I've swatched the entire range here.

I do think you can wear rose toned lips with any eye, including no makeup at all, but rosy pinks and rosy golds can go particularly well, these are some of my faves.

What are your favourite rosy shades?
