So I went into TKMaxx looking for a notebook (along the lines of gold foiling/Moleskine) and this happened...

Stila are actually one of my favourite brands. Their makeup is pretty on point; they're fab at a good formula and anything Kitten immediately goes in my basket.

I've never tried a Stila foundation before so I thought I obviously needed two. Being a foundation fiend, the Illuminating Liquid Foundation came home with me due to its cloudy glass bottle and promise of a bright, radiant finish, and the Perfect and Correct Foundation also did because I love the formula of their swirly highlighting gel and thought this might be similar but with some coverage. Full reviews on their way I feel.

Next is an old favourite. You've probably seen me blabber on about the Rose Gold Shimmer for yonks now. But this is because I really like it, the formula is sensational. I mean it's probably second to my Kevyn Aucoin on My Favourite Highlighters list, is how much I like it. So I picked up another one. And the Bronze version, perfect for light-medium to medium skins, it's so gorgeous.

Another fantastic formula, the Aqua Glow Perfecting Bronzer is pretty scary out of the pump. A reddish brown blob of gel and I did think 'what exactly have I done here?' But I should resume my faith in Stila's trusty formula-know-how as this sheers down to the most beautiful, glowy sheen, and the redness disappears entirely. No sparkle or shimmer, it's undetectable, it was love at first sight.

Face over, onto lippies. For those of us too wary to go full out oxblood on our lips this autumn, a red, russet brown is the way to go. I picked up the Stay All Day Vinyl Gloss in Terracotta and the Colour Balm Lipstick in Maya, both in the same shade family and both beautiful. Whilst the lippie is fairly sheer and is great for a toned down day look, the gloss is more a pigmented, liquid lipstick and so simple to wear, no liner or anything else needed.

I also picked up the Stila Waterproof Brow in Medium which is incredibly similar to my coveted Soap & Glory Archery pencil but slightly more cool toned, yet another beautiful Stila product!
