Hiii :)

So as you can see from the title, this is Part 2 of my Asian Skincare Haul, click here to read Part 1, where I go through Cleansers/Peeling Gels, Eye Products and Serums, first if you haven't already done so :)

Sunscreens

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50 PA+++

I did think that the RMK UV face protector (reviewed here) was my HG sunscreen. It is brilliant but having read reviews of this Biore Sunscreen, I couldn't resist. The product itself (excluding delivery) cost me around £10 which is half the price of the RMK sunscreen to start with. But the main attraction to me was the super light texture it promises to have, even though it has an SPF of 50 and PA+++ UVA protection!

Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell White Sun Essence SPF 50 PA +++

This sunscreen promises a high level of sun protection but with similar ingredients as the rest of their Platinum Grape Cell White line; that is brightening and anti-ageing effects.

Sheet Masks

Tony Moly I'm Real sheet masks in Brightening Lemon and Radiance Tomato

Much like my DIY Papaya and Pineapple brightening mask, I have another DIY remedy involving tomatoes (comment if you'd like a post on it?) and wanted to get tomato sheet masks because they're just so easy. One of the most important things is to be consistent with beauty products or a beauty regime. Unfortunately, that's so much easier said than done and I am definitely guilty of not doing it! Sheet masks however, are so ridiculously easy, and there's no faffing around taking clay mud off your face at the end that there's really no excuse!

Skinfood Sheet Masks
Gold Caviar Nutrition, Omija Whitening and Lettuce & Cucumber Essence

These were given as samples but I find any good quality sheet masks are beneficial to the skin. Even just 10-15 minutes once a week can give your skin a boost!
(Edit: In fact I have since found out from my mother that she bought these! I did think Gold Caviar masks as a sample was a bit generous!!)

My Scheming Silk Collagen Whitening mask
My Scheming Green Tea & Barley Whitening mask
My Scheming L-Ascorbic Acid Whitening mask

Whereas the previous masks were Korean, these are from famous Taiwanese brands My Scheming and My Beauty Diary. I've tried masks from My Beauty Diary before and really like them. They're incredibly inexpensive and whilst I've found that they don't stand up to major skincare claims, they are very nourishing and hydrating. I haven't tried My Scheming before so will let you know what I think of them :) I drink Green tea with Barley a lot so thought why not have it in a sheet mask?!

Innisfree Rice, Adlay & Lemonlime masks

Back to Korean sheet masks, these are from the Korean brand Innisfree. Rice and Lemonlime claim to brighten skin and Adlay (sometimes known as Chinese Pearl Barley) purifies and adds vitality to the skin.

Skinfood Black Sugar, Broccoli and Tomato sheet masks

These were more samples. (this is another thing I love about Eastern skincare, they're not stingy with samples! Aside from the fact that it's really nice to receive something extra for free, if the product is good and you've been allowed to properly try it, the likelihood is that you'll go and buy the full size! It's sometimes difficult to warrant spending a lot of money on a product when you have no idea what it's like.) I know very little about the Black Sugar mask and it's effects on skin but I'm excited to try all of these!

Korean/Asian skincare haul review brands beautymate refining smooth mask sheet masks taiwan asian
BeautyMate Refining Smooth Mask

These masks are from another Taiwanese brand, BeautyMate, although I believe I am right in saying that their parent company is Japanese. These masks claim to improve skin texture and elasticity and I got them slightly on a whim but having read the ingredients, there are some pretty nice things in there! I'll do you a quick list :)

Sodium Hyaluronate (a humectant), CoEnzyme Q10, Aloe Vera, Japanese Arrowroot, Chlorella algae, Truffle, Deep Sea Water (what exactly they mean by that i'm not too sure..) and Peony; my favourite flower!

Sleeping packs

Korean/Asian skincare haul review brands laneige water sleeping pack
Laneige Water Sleeping Pack

Super famous, this product is one of Laneige's best sellers. (Pack is interchangeable with mask in this context) It's supposed to restore your skin over night whilst adding a lottt of hydration, and claims to brighten skin. This is a light, gel texture and really wants to be the last thing you apply on your face at night, but you leave it on, don't wash it off until the morning :) Also, how cute is the little spoon it comes with?!

Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell White Sleeping Pack

This is one of Skinfood's versions of the above Laneige sleeping pack. You use it in the same way; the only real difference is that this one is creamier in texture. This one also comes in a pump bottle so no cute spoon but hygienic all the same :)

Miscellaneous

Korean/Asian skincare haul review brands korea innisfree green tea mineral mist
Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist

This is one of those aerosol-style refreshing sprays. I picked it up because I thought it would be a convenient and easy way to get some antioxidants on my face, especially if i'm out and about in hot sun and would feel more reassured against sun damage by spraying something on myself!

Korean/Asian skincare haul review brands laneige moisture care water bank essence power essential skin refiner water sleeping pack
Laneige Moisture Care Miniature Set

I got this set of minis from Laneige, mainly because I wanted to try the Power Essential Skin Refiner (essentially a glorified toner) and couldn't decide between the 3 different varieties Laneige offer so didn't want to commit to the £20 price tag. The set also includes the essence and sleeping pack (both of which I picked up in full size) and the Balancing Emulsion from the same range. Granted the serum is a standard sample size, but I thought 50ml for each of the toner and emulsion was a pretty decent quantity! (The full size toner is 200ml and the emulsion 120ml.) This set cost me £12 and I think it's a really nice way to try products before commiting to the full size.

Korean/Asian skincare haul review brands red lip lipstick palette

Hwajin SexyLip lipstick quad

I am a sucker for packaging; how gorgeous is this?! Granted I think "sexylip" got lost in translation somewhere but it's so dainty and pretty and wonderful! The leftmost colour came out rather pale for some reason but in the palette it's much more of a peach. It has everything you could possibly need in a "handbag item"; a chic exterior so you can get it out in public and an adorable retractable brush that lives in a compartment behind the mirror!

And finally we reach the end of my haul! (I congratulate you if you got this far!)
Hope you've enjoyed reading and let me know if there are any particular products you'd like me to speed through a review on :)

Also I'm thinking of doing a giveaway for my followers when I reach 50 of you lovely people! that will include some of the stuff from this haul so if you like my blog and want to be involved, please follow and you could be in with a chance of winning some goodies :)
