THE LOWDOWN
The maker of some of my all-time favourite sheet masks, the Skin Clinic line of masks from Innisfree focus on studied actives to remedy specific skin concerns. With niacinamide high on the ingredients list, this mask leaves you with lighter, bright, more radiant skin. This mask uses Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a form of vitamin C that is considered stable and is an effective antioxidant for skin. This form of vitamin C has also shown to increase hydration levels and improve skin's elasticity.
HOW TO USE
Use after cleaning and toning. Take out of the packet and remove plastic film. Apply to face avoiding eyes and lips, then leave for 10-20 minutes. Remove and gently pat to allow remaining formula to absorb into the skin. I find this too astringent for daily use and like to use it once a week, alternating with lighter or soothing masks.
MY TIPS
I think continued use is the key for this one - you can get some really great results, and use as long as your skin allows you, obviously being careful that the vitamin C isn't causing irritation or redness. The niacinamide and vitamin C combined within the mask make a powerful couple in bringing back luminosity to my skin - I love using this when I want some serious glow. I love Innisfree sheet masks as, unlike a lot of other sheet masks, their active ingredients aren't tagged on at the end of the ingredients list, after a bunch of unappealing fillers.
