It's been a good while since I last spoke about digital detoxing and my experiences with it, and as I sit here surrounded by clothes, notes and bags of electricals and toiletries, it's quite apt that we revisit it today.
If you follow me on Instagram, you might know that we're about to head off on our travels to the south of France, and whilst planning for it, I couldn't help but be nagged by the thought of sharing our journey and writing up blog posts all as we go along.
For me, exploring somewhere new is about just that. And I'm going with my best travel partner, who I want to get lost in all the magical moments with, rather than pin down as my 'photographer'. I of course am absolutely going to be getting snap happy, documenting our travels and sharing it all on here and on Insta, but I might take this week as a bit of an exercise in digital detoxing/living in the moment, and post the blog posts when I get back..
And if that makes me a bad blogger then I'm sorry! I just can't see myself sitting down on an evening, editing photos and uploading posts (although I know so many bloggers do it) when there are views to be seen, streets to be explored, hills to be climbed, restaurants to be dined at!
I'm going to keep posting my day to day (ish) activities on Instagram and Stories, but in the meantime, I'd love to leave you with a few of my favourite posts from the archives, and a scheduled post coming up whilst I'm away - I hope you enjoy!
