There are products I reach for on a daily basis, and these are the ones I'm probably most asked about - the tried and true, that have the perfect formula, finish and shade selection for everyday wear.

SKINCARE

I suppose like any good routine, we should start with skincare. Whilst my routines chop and change regularly, there are a few products I've kept coming back to over the last few months, and these are a few that I repurchase. The Swanicoco EGF ampoule that I gushed about in my Anti-Aging Favourites, is giving me such profound, overall improvements, I can't but not include it in my everyday essentials. Another overall improver is the Cosrx AHA liquid. You can see my full review here for more but it's doing wonders at clearing up my skin and keeping most of those nasty, hormonal blemishes at bay. For hydration, Yuripibu's Artichoke essence (full review here) is pretty magical - it feels so special on my skin, as if it's full of silicones but in fact the formula is really pure and natural. To top things off on a wintery day, I reach for either my Banila Co Essence Oil, Grown Alchemist's Rosehip oil or Verso's Day Cream - all three are truly excellent, all three I've repurchased and all three 'plumpify' my skin ready for makeup.

PRIMING

Whilst I don't use a primer in general, I do go for a bit of Burberry's Nude Radiance, a beautiful, multi-use product that you've seen me feature regularly here on BTB (including my Best Of Burberry post) as it gets a lot of use! I mostly prefer using this as a 'primer', specifically on areas I'd like highlighted, although it works equally well as both an all over primer or a highlighter on top of makeup.

BASE

I love my Etude House Real Powder cushion (full review here - and if you don't already have this you absolutely need it!) for an easy, long wearing, everyday base as it's so foolproof to apply and doesn't need powdering on my combo skin. I apply it through the centre of my face and sheer out the rest as it's fairly pigmented. What starts off as a relatively matte finish, slowly melds into my skin over the course of the day to end up looking beautiful, natural and perfectly skin-like.

I like to conceal any blemishes with a heavy duty concealer and Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage is probably my favourite of them all. The two-pan compact gives you the option to custom create your perfect, high coverage shade, which I'll generally pat in with my finger. If I'm in the need for powder, or if I've used a particularly glowy foundation, then Laura Mercier's loose translucent powder is among my top picks. Super fine in texture it smoothes out fine lines and just needs a quick spritz with a facial mist or setting spray to look perfectly imperceptible and velvety.

CHEEKS

During the winter months when my skin is as pale as porcelain, Hourglass' Dim Light (I've got three versions of this I use it so much!) is the perfect warmer-upper-er, providing a hint of seamless glow. I use this liberally in place of bronzer - it's a sublime shade for paler complexions. Seemingly everyone has spoken about the Air Blushes, and if you own one you'll know why. So foolproof - I love how easy these are to apply and wear, they're delicately pigmented so you really can't go wrong.

I actually think extremely highly of Rimmel's Sculpting Palette - specifically shade 002. For under £10, and closer to £5 if you stumble upon an offer, you get three creamy, smooth and even face shades that are incredibly easy to blend and I find look even better on the skin - I'm frequently showered with compliments when wearing this one! The compact palette is perfect for travel and weekends away, I really rate it.

One of my most versatile brushes, the Nars Yachiyo's full, tapered head makes it the perfect brush for everything from highlighting, blush, bronzer and contour. For a quick, everyday look, it's the brush I reach for.

EYES

When it comes to an easy eye, any of my one-stop-shop eye products are top of my list. I'm in a bit of a 'warm brown' phase at the moment (which actually is a pretty signature look for me) and Bobbi Brown's gel liners are great for smudging into the lashline - Sunlit Bronze is a beautiful, warm shade with some inobnoxious sparkle. Pixi's Copper Glow/Bronzebeam is a similar idea - and one I also enjoy regularly. For a completely budget-friendly option, it's got to be Kiko's Cream Crush shadow in 06 Pearly Chocolate - a truly gorgeous shade, it's got a hint of Chanel's New Moon about it.

For brows, I find some kind of 'pen device' to be easiest recently, and I've been chopping and changing between Stila's Stay All Day Waterproof Brow, Suqqu-style felt tip pen with a super fine tip, and Collection's Define & Perfect, a brow powder with included applicator that gives you easy brows whether you're opting for a full or defined shape. Burberry's Cat Lashes are the finishing touch - you'll notice this is a little sample, but I've since purchased the full size. I'm in love with the hourglass-shaped wand that grabs and coats every last lash from inner to outer corner.

LIPS

For lips, you'll probably have deduced by the sparse array of lipsticks I feature on BTB, that I'm not a big lippie wearer. I prefer something utterly foolproof, comfortable and quick, and my favourites lately are hands down the Burberry lip balms. A ceramic tip makes application a pleasure and all five shades are delicately tinted, hydrating and comfortable on the lips.
