TOP DRAWER BEAUTY.

Like 95% of beauty bloggers, I own clear, acrylic drawers (Muji) to store my most used makeup. I like to periodically give my collection a good rotation to 'shop my stash'. A bit like a 'current favourites', here are the products that are currently, unarguably, top shelf.

Let's start with a base that I witter on about all the time. The IOPE cushion foundation has graced my top drawers ever since my cousin bestowed me with it's brilliance several months ago. Everything about this foundation I love, the finish, the scent, the cover, the price, superlative everything.

Another base that has crept it's way into the highest echelons that is the top drawer, is Tom Ford's Traceless foundation stick, initially because of the 'Oh God this is Tom Ford, I can't throw it in a drawer and let it become anything less than pristine' factor, but it stayed because it's in fact an exceedingly good product. I might do an in depth review of this guy so let me know if you'd like to see that.

You'll be seeing Chanel's Les Beiges blush a lot I'll warn you. I kind of feel like it's going to be the blush product of 2016 for me, which is a big statement to make here in February. I think there must be some art in the application though, the French garcon on the Chanel counter just had the magic touch to make me look kissed by cherubs, which I'm yet to master but this product is so easy even I'm nearly there.

If spending £32 on a stick of blush pains you a little, Kiko's Shade Fusion blush in 03 Abricot is one third of the price but equally as pretty (ok almost equally, but sometimes I layer both and then it's the best of both worlds). It gives you the most beautiful, soft sheen as well as a natural flush and I can't get enough of the stuff. Staying with cheeks, the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance powder is my highlight of choice recently (I'm actually a terrible blogger and have forgotten to include the Rosie For Autograph Rose Bud Highlighter (review), honestly, it's exquisite). With a light hand, it looks natural and effortless and the formula is really easy to work with.

Between Charlotte Tilbury's Colour Chameleon in Dark Pearl and the Marc Jacobs Lolita palette, I've got everything I need for a neutral eye look that I love no matter what the combination of shades. Marc Jacobs palettes are such a great investment, supreme quality. For brows, the Freedom Brow Pomade is pretty hard to beat. The colour range is great, including those cool, ashy browns that a lot of us need, and each little pot, which will last you yonks, is only £5.

Rather than prime to make my makeup last longer, I need a heavy duty primer to fill in the lines on my forehead and pores on the inner part of my cheeks. The Nars Instant Line & Pore Perfector is perfect.

Last up, it's a rare moment when there isn't a Chanel compact in the top drawer. This time, it's my Joues Constraste blush in Alezane. From the Fall 2015 collection, I kept it in the box for a little while but, even though it's darker than I might usually go, this blush is exquisite on the skin and will see you through all seasons.

I'm a big fan of Guerlain. I think they're pretty underrated as far as department store beauty goes, and when I stumbled upon their new range of lipsticks, I of course, got sucked in like a moth to a flame.

ROSIE FOR AUTOGRAPH MAKEUP.

I promised you an in depth review of the Rosie for Autograph range at Marks and Sparks, and today, here it is!

I mentioned in my First Impressions post (I've swatched almost everything from the range here if that's useful to you!) that I've already fallen in love with this range. Honestly, it's so reminiscent of high end beauty, everything from the packaging to the shades to the formulas, look and feel expensive. I've got a few more products on order (I know..) but here is what I immediately picked up way back when it launched, and I've had a good while to trial them out.

MARC JACOBS, THE LOLITA PALETTE.

So I popped into the Marc Jacobs store in Mayfair to get the stunning Petra nail polish (review) and this happened..

Righty-ho blogger buddies, it's about time I spoke about this eye palette, it's been peppering my Instagram for a little while!

O&M KNOW KNOTT, THE HAIR SAVIOUR.

know-knott-O&M-hair

I've been trialing out a few new hair products over the past few months as part of my Hair Journey (read up for more info on Telogen Effluvium and my hair loss). One brand that I am falling in love with is the Australian born Original Minerals (O&M), a haircare brand that leave out the nasties from their products.

One of the main problems I have with my hair is breakage. Any tiny movement and my hair seems to knot up into one big, matted mess. My apple cider vinegar rinse really helps here but I wanted a leave in conditioner for post-shampoo to keep my hair snarl-free in between washes. Step in Know Knott.

I'm just going to get right into it. This product is phenomenally good at it's job. Once I'm out of the shower, I spritz this liberally into my hair from roots to tips and let everything air dry. Even though my hair is fine and pretty long (past boob level - universal indicator of hair length!), my boar bristle brush glides right through with ease and there's no greasiness, residue or heaviness, it just feels soft, and literally no knots.

I'm really conscious about the ingredients that go into the hair products I use (and geeky enough to research them fastidiously) but the Know Knott is lovely and gentle with a lot of naturally derived ingredients. Macadamia oil, Argan oil, Australian Riberry and panthenol nourish and strengthen, whilst the chosen silicone, Amodimethicone, is one that doesn't build up due to it's electrical charge so you won't find your hair weighed down or clogged up with heavy conditioners.

I'm in love. Shiny, swishy, detangled locks, without the need for damaging heat or heavy duty hair products. And they have a travel friendly mini bottle at only £9!

Have you tried the O&M range?
I think I'll be picking up one of their masks next!

Even though I'm constantly trying new products, I've found myself singling out and circulating through the same bunch of beautiful eye colours in the recent weeks and months. I'm all about the coppers, the burnished bronzes, the mauve-taupes, something that's flattering and pretty whatever you're up to during the day. Want a peek?

I love talking about Asian products because, more than likely, I get to gush. And there's lots of gushing to be done today. Take a look at my guide on Where To Buy Korean Beauty Products but I really recommend Yesstyle, a huge range, competitive pricing and free shipping to the UK over only £25.

Another new release from Barry M (have a peep at my Mani Masks review if you haven't already), this time it's lipsticks, with a formula promising to be pigmented, dewy and lustrous. I don't know about you but I'm all ears! Let's have a look at the photos/swatches.

A FEW FAVOURITES *GIVEAWAY*

As I've been hinting on social media fairly recently, I wanted to give a little something back to the lovely people that follow and support Barely There Beauty. It's bonkers to think there are real, live, human beings behind screens across the globe that read my posts, like my Insta pics, comment, share, compliment etc. So today, I've got a little something for you.

Even though my blog is still a very small fish in a very big sea, it's been amazing to see the support from everyone and be part of this wonderful community. I wanted to say a big thanks by choosing a couple of little favourites in a colour palette I've been wearing non-stop recently.

Marc Jacobs Nail Polish in 140 Petra

I'm going to say it, this is my favourite nail polish of all time. It's gorgeous, unique, fab formula, you can check out my full review for a better idea of the colour.

Freedom Audacious 3

I hope you won't be disappointed that this palette isn't expensive! I think it's exceedingly good quality and the colours are everything I could ask for, there's not a single one I don't like.

Kiko Long Lasting Stick in 05 Rosy Brown

This complex taupey-purple is a spot on dupe for Laura Mercier's Amethyst, but I have to say I prefer the formula. It's more slick and blendable and wears a little better for me.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Extra info: This giveaway is international and will run until midnight (GMT) on the 7th March 2016. At the end of the giveaway I'll be contacting the winner, they'll have 48 hours to accept the goodies, otherwise I'll be choosing a secondary winner. If there are any issues sending the nail polish (I know there could be with certain countries), I'll be sending a Marc Jacobs lipstick instead!

Thank you again and good luck!
