NYX is finally available in many local Boots stores and seeing as it's been a good three months since my last haul, I thought I'd swing past and pick up a few new items to try - so let's see what I snagged.

Face first and I was umming and ahhing between the Born To Glow Liquid Illuminizer in Gleam and Illuminating Bronzer in Narcissistic. This time, I ended up going with the latter, a beauuu-tiful warm, golden peach highlighting powder, not in the slightest a bronzer like the name suggests. The shimmer in this isn't chunky, giving a nice sheen, and it's actually not a bad dupe for this limited edition Nars highlighting blush that I love.

Sticking with the cheeks, I picked up the Baked Blush in Foreplay, a peachy-pink iridescent blush that I've seen quite a lot on Youtube. I generally like baked powder products (perfect example, these Laura Mercier ones) so there's every chance I'll like this. There seems to be a pretty hefty overspray, making things initially look a bit opalescent and shimmery, but the pigment is sheer and I like the subtlety - the more subtle glowy-ness underneath the overspray is perfect for summer.

I'm sure most of you have tried the Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, seemingly everyone's favourite white base, but they actually have around 30 shades and Sparkle Nude immediately stood out to me. Not dissimilar to the Narcissistic highlighter in colour, this super pretty rose-gold-come-peach shadow stick is really creamy, with teeny flecks of silver microglitter. It doesn't have the staying power of some of my favourites like the ByTerry Ombre Blackstars but at £5 a pop, who can complain?

I suppose it's getting obvious what kinds of shades I'm liking this summer.. Another peachy hue, the Hot Single in Sex Kitten is somewhere between a champagne and coral, with a creamy texture and decent colour payoff. I've only dipped into this a couple of times so far but I've already found I like using it better wet.

Last up, even though I'm not a big matte lip fan, I couldn't resist the Liquid Suede lippie in Soft Spoken. Isn't it such a beautiful shade? And it's claimed to be the perfect dupe for Kat Von D's Lolita, so a big saving to be made there as the Liquid Suede lipsticks are only £6.50 and much easier to find in the UK. A darkish, rose-nude, Soft Spoken is so flattering - really looking forward to using it!
