I'm really enjoying Estee Lauder makeup at the moment. Their Bronze Goddess Summer 2016 collection (review & swatches here) is probably my favourite of all from this year and a little spoiler alert, their new Double Wear Nude foundation is lovely. I'm still supposed to be on my spending ban but I had a good play so read on for swatches and my first impressions.

Priming Moisture Balm £30 | This moisturising primer claims to hydrate, prime and perfect, minimizing pores and refining skin texture and tone. It claims to have both an instant and prolonged benefit. The balm feels smooth and fairly silicone-y so it there's definitely a smoothing effect to be seen. I think considering it's inclusion in the Genuine Glow range - all about the light and bright, it's not all that brightening, and I think if you're going to spending 30 odd quid, I'd be much happier recommending the Estee Lauder EE Cream.

Priming Moisture Balm SPF 15 £30 | You'd think, as did I, that the only difference between this balm and the one above is the inclusion of SPF, but in fact, the texture and finish is completely different! Whilst the SPF-free version feels silicone-y and leaves a velvety, demi-matte finish, not dissimilar to the Benefit Porefessional, this one is much more slick, dewy and luminous (without any shimmer, in fact both are shimmer-free), which I greatly prefer.

Priming Moisture Eye Balm £30 | The eye balm sits somewhere in between the two face balms with regards to texture. A 'water fusion balm' (whatever that is), this claims to hydrate and prime, and with prolonged use promises a smoother, brighter and less puffy eye area. It felt lovely but I don't instantly sense anything special, and it irks me slightly that it's no cheaper than the face balms?

Eyelighting Creme For Eyes And Face £16 | These multi-purpose cushion pens give a lovely highlight, which you can use on both face and eyes. The applicator tip is much like the Etude House Cushion Concealer and makes blending really quick and easy - a great travel option although I'm not thrilled about the hygiene of it. Bare Blush is a pale, pink-champagne, Gleam Glow a warm champagne-gold and Sweetest Thing a mid-toned rose gold-copper. All have cheer pigmented, lending itself to an easy wash of colour. Whilst you don't get a huge amount of product (3.2ml), they're priced really affordably - Sunburst from the Summer collection for example comes in at £24.50.

Blushing Creme For Lips And Cheeks £19 | I feel like I'm seeing these absolutely everywhere now, which for the record, I'm not upset about. These ones come in two, really very pigmented shades; Sweet Cheeks, a bright and vibrant, almost Barbie, pink, and Peachy Keen, an orangey-coral. What I like about them is that there's not too much shimmer, and quite a bit of glisten, so you can get a lovely, glowy cheek without the sparkle. Again, priced well.

Reviving Oil Lip Tint £16 | My affinity for this tinted lip oil was instant. There's a delicate, pink hue that I think would be flattering for all, and the texture feels in between a balm and oil - really comfortable on the lips, with a fresh, vaguely minty feel and I appreciate the fabric-free, easily wipe-cleanable applicator.
