I've been holding out for a suitable face palette for spring/summer, and as tempted I've been with the Hourglass Illume Trio and Tom Ford's The Afternooner, I think whilst waiting for the right one, I've stumbled across the perfect collection.

There are a few pieces to the range, a new fragrance, shimmering body oil, eyeshadow palette etc, and then these beautiful items...

Summer Glow Multi Palette £40 | I could not walk past the Estee Lauder counter without zeroing in on this ridiculously beautiful palette. Housed in a golden case, you get an embossed highlighter, blush and bronze/contour shade. And they're sensible servings too - sizable pans of all these products, not small and impractical like Charlotte Tilbury's Instant Look palette (I'm sorry Charlotte, I really want to love it, and the shades are beautiful, it's just a pain to use!) nor stupid pan shapes that are just going to get messed up like the ByTerry Sun Designer palettes. Let's start with the highlight. This is just beau-tiful. There's a mix of gold, pink and champagne hues in there to create the prettiest, most perfect highlight shade. The texture is nice and creamy with little fallout and good pigmentation. Onto the blush/bronzer, there is an ever so gentle shimmer about them that isn't really apparent at all on the skin, I'm always wary of shimmer in products - it just gives your skin some life and a healthy sheen. Both have a more subtle pigment, meaning they're very difficult to overdo - something I really appreciate in cheek products, I always prefer buildable to too bold.

Lip & Cheek Summer Glow £24.50 | These convenient little sticks house everything you need for a simple, summer-inspired lip and cheek. The twist-up-stick end contains a multi-purpose lip and cheek colour that's beautifully slick and blendable (the consistency and feel sits in between the Chanel Les Beiges blush sticks and their Rouge Coco Stylos). Whether you dab it onto your cheeks and blend up or rub into the lips, they end up looking beautiful and glowy, not sticky. The other end contains a complimentary shade of lipgloss. Shades 1 and 2, Fuschia Lights and Peach Glow follow this remit and are beautiful, bright summery shades. The twist up sticks are bold and glistening (not shimmery) but you can sheer  the colour out to whatever intensity you desire, and the lipglosses on both feel more like a jelly gloss and give a slightly sheer colour payoff - akin to the Lancome Juicy Shakers.

Shade 3, Sunburst, however, is a bit of an oddity. I'd never think to use the stick side  as a lipstick - it most definitely screams highlight, and a gosh darn beautiful one at that. It's a stunning champagne-gold that's neither too shimmery nor in the slightest glittery, and the slick, gel-like formula is sublime, gliding straight onto the skin and retaining a plump, hydrated look, even after it's blended out. The lipgloss feels, smells, looks and tastes identical to the discontinued YSL Golden Gloss Shimmering lipgloss in Shade 1 (remember the one with 24K gold particles in it? I admit that's totally why I bought it back in my teenage years). There is a stickiness about it but it's thick and stays put rather than being sloppy and sliding around your lips. This is actually rather beautiful topping off a nude or pink lippie if you're going for a evening-party-in-mykonos kind of look.

Gelee Bronzer £33 | More gel products make for a better makeup world in my eyes! I've got somewhat of an obsession. This liquid/cream contains bronzing particles suspended in a reflecting, pearlised base for sheer, natural looking radiance. It's got a smooth, creamy feeling about it rather than what you might imagine from a gel - to me it's more like a bronzing BB product, similar to this one by Bourjois. Nevertheless, it does retain that plump, hydrated look I search for within a gel product, the glow is subtle but exudes a healthiness on the skin. This is definitely a warm-toned product, I wouldn't say it was suitable to create any realistic shadowing, but beautiful to warm up the face.

I'm thoroughly impressed with everything I've tried so far, Estee Lauder have got it spot on with this collection in my eyes - everything from the shades to the packaging to the textures are luxurious and summery.
