NEW IN BEAUTY | HIGH END WISHLISTING.

24 April 2016 5 comments

There's a lot that I'm currently excited about in the beauty world, Summer 2016 collections are getting ready to be released and there seems to be a veritable bounty of wares to spend your money on. Today I'm sharing some high end must haves in my current wishlist.

Hourglass Illume Trio $62

Sigh, my love of cream products and subtle, sheeny cheek products is going to cost me dearly. Not that I need it but this palette looks exquisite, including a cream bronzer, blush and highlight. The swatches look beautiful, you must go Google them!

Pick it up here.

Tom Ford Moisturecore Lipsticks £39

I've been rotating through my Chanel Rouge Coco Shines, and turns out, I can't get enough of high end, sheer/hydrating lipsticks. I never picked up any of the Tom Ford Lip Shines, so I'm telling myself that makes it ok to get some of these - Cala di Volpe and Scandola are calling my name. It'd be nice to have some of the white packaging in my collection too, as if that passes as a real reason to spend £39 on a lipstick... Nevertheless they're on my wishlist!

Pick them up at Nordstrom, Sephora, Saks, Bloomingdales, most ship to the UK too if you don't want to miss out.

Su;m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick £21

The reason this is on the wishlist is two-fold. First of all, a cleansing stick is a brilliant idea. This is going to be great for travel. Secondly, there are no harsh detergents in this, it's over 90% natural, meaning it's going to be uber gentle on my skin. Oh and it smells of rose.

Pick it up here.

Laura Mercier Illuminator $44

Embossed powders. That could well be all I need to say! They're becoming an addiction, especially if they're a) highlighters and/or b) limited edition, and this is one of 3 in my wishlist... I really enjoy Laura Mercier's Baked Highlighter so have high hopes of this 'swathes of silk' number, Indiscretion, the champagne-y shade looks stunning, although there are 4 shades so hopefully one to please all.

Pick it up here at Sephora.

Dphue ACV Hair Rinse $35

If you've read this post, you'll know my love for apple cider vinegar when it comes to hair care. This hair cleanser by Dphue claims that you can replace your shampoo and conditioner with just this one product, that will clean your hair but in the most gentle way? Immediately intrigued. It also contains oils, botanical extracts and proteins to nourish and strengthen.

Pick it up at Sephora.

Guerlain Terracotta Pause D'Ete £50

Both limited edition and embossed, it was always going to be on the cards. I really rate Guerlain as a makeup brand, whilst expensive, their products always feel luxurious and a little special. Their new packaging of the Parure Lumiere powder for example, it makes my heart beat a little faster! As far as I know, the gold rope design is a spray overlay but the product actually consists of the terracotta bronzer with a blush core. Made of wood, the compact is a bit of a collector's piece. Excited.

You lucky things in the US, you can get it already here.
For those of us in the UK, it's a wait unfortunately until roundabouts July.

ByTerry Sun Design Palette £64

I would usually say that I think ByTerry are generally overpriced. I don't fully buy into their brand but these palettes aren't bad value. 6 highlighting, blush and bronzing shades, in a mixture of mattes and shimmers, all in one palette, makes it pretty great for travelling, and Shade 2 Light and Tan Vibes looks deliciously neutral. I'd say one to grab if you've too much money (admitted no one ever) as the zigzag pattern is really impractical for use. It's pretty though!

UK | Grab it at Feel Unique, SpaceNK or Harrods
US | Barneys, SpaceNK USA, Beautylish, Saks Fifth Avenue

Dior SkinFlash £28

Not a new product at all but new to me. I tried it out the other week and it's surprisingly wonderful. Thought up by the same lady who came up with Touche Eclat, I must say that I think this is better. Really hydrating and brightening under the eye, it's got exactly the look and feel that I'm after.

Pick it up here for the UK and here for the US.

Guerlain My Super Tips Radiance in a Flash €29

Guerlain seem to be introducing more affordable items to their range (take their LPND lipsticks and nail polishes, of which I've swatched the range here), which is good news for everyone. The latest is a small collection of 5 skincare items, each with a different function, promising instant results rather than a long lasting effect. Radiance in a Flash (the yellow tube) is a similar concept to Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, in that it brightens, tightens and lifts. It also has a rose gold pearlescence which I'm hoping is going to be incredibly flattering and pretty.

Available in France here, the rest of us will have to wait until May.

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pera Granita £47

The new fragrance from Guerlain (there's a lot of it on my wishlist isn't there), this smells so fresh and fruity and spring/summer-like. It's not often that I fall in love with a perfume, especially one from a 'mainstream' brand, and it rather helps that the bottle is so pretty too. Superficial aren't I.

Get it at Boots, John Lewis, Escentual.

Goodal Trans Foam Cleansing Oil $30

An oil that foams, and containing 7 fermented seed oils, this cleanser promises to remove makeup and impurities whilst leaving your face hydrated and nourished. I rather like the idea of foam cleansers as they make my face feel the most 'clean' but it's hard to find one that isn't stripping, hopefully Goodal will come up trumps!

Pick it up here.

What's on your wishlist?! I'd love to know!

P.S Have you seen these Korean Skincare Dupes??
