The Body Shop's Honey Bronze bronzer is a smooth, creamy, matte bronzer imprinted with a hexagonal 'honeycomb'. Like my Stila Highlighting Duo, I don't know why I haven't picked this up earlier! It comes in a lovely deep, dark, honey-coloured, Guerlain-esque compact with a large, fuss free mirror and a nice, tactile feel.
The powder itself has a lovely texture. It's been good on bare skin, or atop both powder and liquid formulas. For me, it's the subtlety I love. I can afford to be somewhat careless in how much I put on the brush, and how I get it onto my face; just swirl it on whatever-which-way and it looks beautiful. A somewhat warm but not in the slightest orange-y tone, and not too dark, nor muddy. It blends beautifully with little effort, which is ideal for low maintenance days, it's great to find a creamy, matte formula on the highstreet that rivals the high end bronzers!
Shade 4 is the perfect tone and colour for a neutral/olive base; it doesn't look like I've bronzed my skin but that my skin is bronze, a real 'true', natural bronze. Shades come in 1 to 6 so you should find a hue to suit your needs! The RT 300 is the perfect brush for a good, even sweep.
I've been topping mine off with a little bit of this gorgeous luminiser/blush and a dab of my favourite Stila highlighter. Et c'est voila! All ready forshopping and brunch work shopping and brunch.
