October Favourites 2013 :)

I can't believe 2 months has passed since I started this blog! October is arguably my favourite month so :( that it's over but the beginning of November means a month closer to Christmas and October favourites time! Here are some items I have been lovingggggg this month :)

Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation in 25 Nude

I've had this product for what feels like forever but October is the month that I've pulled it out of my makeup stores and into my everyday makeup collection. It gives such amazing coverage and is great for covering blemishes; I use it as a concealer rather than a foundation.

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in 637 Malice

This is my all time favourite nail colour and I love when fall comes around so I can wear it on my nails all the time! It's the most stunning deep dark burgundy red colour and I've been wearing it all October (in between of my nail arts!) Controversial but I actually prefer this to the coveted Rouge Noir! :P

Primark Lashes in Natural Look

These are such a bargain at only £1 a pair. I use Duo lash glue with all my lashes but they even come with glue! These look really pretty and natural on and the band is still bendy and flexible so they're easy to apply and comfortable to wear. Primark also do "Sultry" and "Full" lashes if you wanted something more dramatic :)

L'Oreal EverStrong Shampoo

I've been trying to be careful with my hair lately as it's been shedding a lot which meant looking out for a sulphate-free shampoo. I have to say I'm missing all the lather you get with a shampoo full of SLS but this one cleans my hair really well and I feel like it's doing it less damage! It leaves my hair pretty soft, meaning I don't use a conditioner in the shower anymore and just treat my hair with oils and serums in between washes. Also it has rosemary oil which is great for your scalp :)

Calvin Klein Tempting Glimmer Sheer Creme Shadow in Snakeskin Silver

One of my friends actually told me that these were in Poundland (you can also pick them up from Fragrance Direct for £1.99) of all places and that I should try them out. I picked up this shade and I've been really pleasantly surprised! I don't think "Snakeskin Silver" is the best name as it's not really silver.. more of a champagne colour, which I prefer; it's a really flattering, pretty shimmer that looks great behind the lash line. The formula is a dry creme which sets to more of a powdery finish so no worries about creasing or it sliding around like a creamy product.

Laneige Water Bank Essence

A product for dehydrated skin from Asian Skincare Haul, I won't say too much about this serum as I have a full review (including a spiel about dehydration) coming up in the very near future but needless to say it has made it into my favourites for this month! :)

Lastly, not beauty related but I have absolutely loving Lola's cupcakes (from London) recently. They're my favourite cupcakes ever and recently they've been doing special Halloween decorations, aren't they adorable?! And yummy too :):)

Hope you're having an amazingg day :)
